DJ Eddie was the DJ for our wedding on July 1 2017 in Malibu. I cannot stress enough how amazing him and his team were! I couldn’t have dreamt of better entertainment for my ending. For simplicity, I am going to list my points in an organized manner to help anyone looking for a DJ– especially one that is Persian and American.

*****Customer Service and Pricing******
There are only a handful of good Persian/American DJ’s in LA believe it or not. After vetting several DJ’s i came across DJ Eddie on Yelp and reached out to him. He immediately set up an in person meeting with me near my office in Century City. He was refreshingly honest and wasn’t trying to sell me random extra services. He listened to what i wanted and gave me a quote. The package he offered me was comprehensive, and included Violin, Sax, and dombak (drums). His price was very competative compared to the other DJs I interviewed for the same services. Most of them charged extra for service over 6 or 8 hours. They also charged additional for if the ceremony and reception were in differences areas (even if it was on the same venue) but DJ Eddie did not do that. He guaranteed that he would cover my event from beginning to end with his entire team and he did. He was the first to set up at 10 am and the very last to leave (2am). The violin, sax and dombak were also there, serving as percussionist during the entire ceremony, cocktail and reception!

******Entertainment ******
DJ Eddie David had me send him a list of our chosen songs prior to Eddie– including our ceremony song and first dance. I also sent him a long list of my favorite Persian and American that I would like to be played through the evening. DJ Eddie delivered on everything and did so in style and grace! He was able to shorten our first dance song to blend in with a fast fun song that drew every single person from my 7 year old niece to my 80 year old grandma to the dance floor. The dance floor was not empty even for a second except for when guest were called to dinner and during the speeches. DJ Eddie played a perfect mix of songs– a good deal included Persian and American pop songs that I requested. The evening of dancing was amazing– with Eddie driving the crowds energy higher and higher throughout the evening. Eddie also MC-ed the event, introducing our families during the reception in a fun way, and making various announcements including introducing those who were to give speeches and making the crowd love and laugh and cheer and party. Persians must know that he has an amazing radio voice– the ideal MC for a Persian wedding.

******Logistics and Coordination******
Our wedding took place outdoors on the lawn of a private Malibu estate that sits atop of a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean. DJ Eddie David worked closely with all our vendors including our rental company, photographer and videographers to ensure a smooth ceremony and reception. He was in touch with all of them from days prior. He brought a truck load of equipment including state of the art sound systems, lights and and instruments. The sound at my wedding was perfect and crisp. Our vowels could be heard from a mile away and was also captured by our videographer as a result of coordination with Eddie.

I cannot thank DJ Eddie enough for his assistance and his team’s generous and professional service. He made my wedding so delightful and unforgettable. He conducted and managed everything with class and utmost professionalism. Eddie Jan, thank you, thank you, thank you!
